Launch of ITU/CYTA/INA ACADEMY Workshop on "Mobile Broadband: a pillar for the Future Information Society"

INA Academy is delighted to announce that the Telecommunication Development Bureau of the ITU, Cyta (the leading provider of integrated electronic communications services in Cyprus) and INA Academy are organizing a training workshop on “Mobile Broadband: a pillar for the Future Information Society”. The workshop is addressed to Policy Makers, Regulators, Corporate Executives and Managers dealing with regulatory and business issues.

The event will be hosted by Cyta in Nicosia, Cyprus over the period 31 May - 2 June 2010. The agenda will focus on the challenges facing mobile broadband, including spectrum availability, regulatory concerns and more, as users continue to increase their data consumption. The Workshop will address technological and business challenges and will highlight service provision innovations. The expert panel discussions will attempt to address the question: ”Can the prevailing widespread and popular access to mobile phones among SE European population be used to support the public policy goal of increasing digital technologies and internet uptake?”

The workshop will be organized in the following sessions:

  • Technology Architectures & emerging Business Models
  • Services and Content Management: Challenges and Opportunities
